Twisting, turning, bending, surgingby NerdJNerdBirdComment: Okay, I'm really trying to think on this one as I really like the composition. I'm trying to figure out what was moving around the image to meet the challenge requirement. I'll have to check it out at the end of the challenge and I don't want to (nor will I) DNMC it as I think I can see a couple of spots of where the stop action took place. Nice comp (again). 7.
Details: Long exposures can often create very dramatic effects in photography. Use a longer than normal exposure to create the impact of your image. |

Stir of Echoesby SJCarterComment: I don't take off points for it, but the thick colored border here takes away from your image in my opinion. Score: 6. |

Three Yellow Tulipsby artvetComment: Let me say that I really like the subject matter and the overall composition. I don't count off for borders and normally this thick white border would not be my favorite, but it works very well here. The one thing though that I really have an issue with is the challenge criteria. I'm don't really feel that a long shutter speed here really performed what I consider a "dramatic effect".
It is such a nice image though and it defintely does not fall into the DNMC bucket. So, I'd give it a 5.

Don't Let Go!by levyj413Comment: The tree doesn't bother me. I actually like it there with the fine edges on the leaves. I think I would like it with the tree, but if the tree was just a little above the child rather than the feet & head being mixed in with the leaves.
But I would prefer that the entire background (on the ground) be blackened out. The white on the houses shows up a bit and I think would be more effective as a complete sillohuete.

The wind sweeps the sky cleanby NuzzerComment: Really liked this one and feel that it is among the underrated images. How it got below a 5 is beyond me. Silly voters. I'll never understand them. I had it as a 6. |

Air-Headby cabaComment: Wow, definitley underrated. I don't think the viewers spent enough time to see the wind tunnel look.
I had it as a 7. |
