Fantastic shot! I think this'll get some poor marks from those who say it doesn't directly relate to PF, but I think it's marvellous.

Comment:
The horizon is slightly off level, but not enough to suggest it's deliberate, and the whole shot is a bit flat.

Empty Spaces

Comment:
This didn't do anything for me - sorry. The ground isn't level but isn't on enough of an angle to seem like it's been done deliberately. Maybe walking around the field a bit to get a level shot and remove or hide the second building would have been better. The two specks in the top right corner are either dust specks or birds, but either way are distracting.

This is very noisy, particularly the lower left corner. Maybe use less JPEG compression and increase the file size when saving.

Comment:
This is well framed. I think it's a pity that the bird is heading away rather than toward the camera tho.

Comment:
This looks like a snapshot; the sky is very overexposed and the dogs noses are dark and lacking detail.

Comment:
The hills are really dark and the dam itself is also too much in the shadows. I think the view down to the dam takes away much of the power that something like this can evoke. If you shot from below the dam looking up toward it, it would really dominate the shot and seem much more powerful.

I like the symbolism, but I think the colour balance could be altered to make this a much stronger photo.

Comment:
Good idea, but I think the composition is hampered by the shoes and the light from under the door.
