first of all we need a dead rich person to give joey $10 000 to please his greedy ways then thats sorted
then joey can lower his prove to $50 that stops the bitching and more people get the dvd yay

OK just "Whoa" here.
I'll say it again for the latecomers - the Buy/Sell area is for camera equipment only. Buy/Sell also prohibits commercial sales. It ALSO prohibits kvetching about price.
If you don't want the DVD, don't buy it, OK? There is no need to personally attack Joey for anything...statements assessing his values and ethics are inappropriate so we need to stop that here.

I totally agree. This guy, Joey, has offered his DVD for sale to the members of this site as well as the general public. You don't have to buy it. And you don't have to belittle the man behind the DVD.
This thread was moved to a different forum category...personally I feel it should be in Hardware and Software...but that is beside the point.
If you have a problem with the DVD, price, author or whatever...take it to a different thread. But leave this one simply for the DVD and the people that may be interested in purchasing it.

Since this thread has digressed from its original motive, i think it shall be locked like other were.
If someone has to buy it he/she can buy it. There is not need to express opinions about it.

I didn't question his ethics, only basic loyalty. if this isn't up for discussion, perhaps it shouldn't be placed in a DISCUSSION forum. just lock the thread and make him purchase ad space like the rest of us would have to do. then no more bitching. |

Well, that's not entirely fair either. You see, we're able to discuss the pros and cons of various software packages on the 'Hardware and Software' forum. So why shouldn't people be able to give their feedback (good or bad) about this DVD? - Once they've stopped whinging about the price, that is. |

As far as I remember (I haven't checked all the way back) none of the pros are whining about the cost of the DVD, what Joey "owes" the community and/or his supporters, or anything else for that matter except other members slamming Joey and/or his marketing approach for no good reason except, apparently, spite...
This whole thread leaves an appallingly bad taste in my mouth. It may not separate pro from amateur, but it sure as hell highlights Class vs No Class.
That's MY opinion and I am sticking to it.
