| Really cool subject and scene. It made it even cooler to know that it's a statue as part of multiples in the area, beautiful. I wish they had them on the beaches in Cali! |

| This might just be the winner this month. A very, very intriguing work. I love how there are NO foot prints or any evidence whatsoever on how this sentinel has arrived in it's position of being the watchman. It appears he is covered in mud or dried dirt. Makes it that much more interesting to think about. |

| I think this is a statue, and it's rare that I'm impressed by a photo of a statue, but this has emotion to it. Something about the solitary figure, the vast water, the beautiful light, the rippling sand ... almost apocalyptic in feel. |
