 I was trying to get one of my little girl playing with her dog but the dog wouldn't cooperate. We were in the backyard and her little friend came out to see what we were doing. They have matching outfits on because they take tumbling classes together and it was just a few minutes before they had to leave. They started playing on the slide and I decided to take a few of them playing together I actually got quite a few really cute shots of them but this one I liked the facial expressions best and how my girl is holding on to her best friend. They really are best buddies. I can't keep them apart. Really big mischief makers lately: picking all the apples of my neighbors tree. Picking all of my tomatoes including the green ones, flooding the basement bathroom. The list goes on and on.

I really didn't expect to do well with this one. I thought I had to process it to much to make it workable. I entered it just on a whim. Thanks for the great comments. I know I do a lot of stock images and this is actually perfect for stock it would sell really well. Its just hard to get spontaneous shots like this to be technically good enough for stock. Unfortunately this one is not sharp enough in the eyes, so I will have to be happy just to have won a H.M. on DPchallenge with it. Thanks for the great comments.

Congrats on the 4th place finish Jenn! This is such a lovely shot of two best friends playing together - it is the smiles and hug that makes this shot.
