Well done Frank! Congrats on your ribbon. I love the depth of field with the birds and the mountains. Makes it feel very real. |

Congratulations, Frank. Lovely work. As tanguera mentioned previously, it is very reminiscent of Planet of the Apes. |

Congrats on the ribbon, Frank! Not to quibble, but if the sun was to the right, the front part of the spike and the front face of rocks on the ground would be lit, not the back :-) |

Congratulations Frank! I really like how you managed the depth of field, it's the attention to such details that makes composites more realistic. The choice of the beach is also very good: white sand would have much less impact obviously. Happy to see you're having fun experimenting :-) |

We really don't want a tsunami to hit Seattle do we?

Terrific idea, very Planet of the Apes. It's the lighting in the details which kill the illusion (i.e. the light on the gulls is from the right, but the sun is behind them) |

Nice idea.
Though the image looks a little too fake for my taste. |

Nice. I like how the bird on the right is tack sharp. |
