 Oh, wow - thank you! I had hopes early on as it held a low 7 for a couple of days, but then it dropped and hovered around where it ended for the rest of the week.
I took this in the capitol building in Denver - an absolutely gorgeous space where you are welcome to wander and take photos at your leisure. I have never seen so much copper in my life! I took lots of looking down shots here, trying to get people well framed and sharp and interesting, and was delighted to see this one among them. I did try it in black and white and ran both versions by my team - color won hands down.

Although I'm not a fan of the heavy HDR use in this img, I do think it creates a cool looking optical illusion.
