This photograph was my favorite but I came on board new to DP too late to vote. The tonal quality of the background is rich and the lighting quality on the woman is very beautiful. the reflection on the floor is added quality and interest to the photograph. Congratulations on a beautiful shot!

Hi Robert, it's a reflective vinyl flooring.

pretty great lighting, but i find the cutoff reflection kind of distracting. wondering if there was something else you could have done from a compositional perspective.

I am not a fan of this kind of photography, but I did love the CATS theater play..

The shadows and light have really caught my attention and usually its the poses that I don't care for.. this one is very, very elegant, smooth and relaxing. Not only her pose but the way her dancing outfit is really flowing and just fits very well into the picture and its not wrapped around her like you see a lot of times. To me this deserves a 10
