 Thanks for all the comments and votes! I knew when I saw this challenge pop up I just had to enter, pregnant and tired or not! :)

I was a little strapped for time, but managed to come up with an idea, shoot it all and edit within one afternoon, over the course of a few hours.

I knew that I wanted to play off my original image...almost as if I was still dealing with the same lightbulb! I wanted to incorporate elements from before, like the outfit, the cat, and the fork. The original actually has gotten a decent amount of notoriety, and even a book cover sold from Getty! Everyone seems to really love that one, and it was fun to make so I am glad people like it. I wish I would have had a bit more time to think of other ideas for this one, but when the rope/pulley system popped into my head, I couldn't think of anything else!

Well deserved Blue. Super image. Other than the fabulous model, I particularly like how the selective blurring of the rope gives depth to the image.

Very impressive edit.

The conceptual articulation with your earlier shot was also appreciated.

Given your pregnancy, I really, really hope that this is a composite! ;-) Congratulations Samantha, outstanding entry, I love it. The concept is perfect: efficient visually, very funny, and you perfectly organized everything on the canvas to make it a pleasure to look at.

This is not an appropriate activity for someone in your condition. The cat is an especially nice touch. As usual, a lesson in creativity. Thanks for entering (even if it means inevitably knocking my entry down a notch).

This doesn't strike me as a good idea when you're pregnant, or any other time for that matter. Excellent job, nice blurring of the ropes and pulleys.
