This is so quaint. I love the weathered boards. Is this open to the public and where is it? This is awesome and an awesome photo. Beautiful photo. Would have loved to seen the whole building.

Nice composition. I like the tinted black and white and the old, weatherbeaten wood.

has a strange mystical and aged feel to it that i find compelling yet scary at the same time :)

This ties with one other shot for my absolute favorite this week. This shot is just fabulous. The building looks crooked to me, but I'm not sure that it is! The black and white is perfect for this shot, and this building looks absolutely charming. I would SO love to know where this is. I love your composition - I think that I would have taken a tight shot of just the building, leaving out the sidewalk, and I also think that it would have been a mistake to do that!! Adding the sidewalk really gives it a great sense of "place". Congrats, I would hang this on my walls in a heartbeat.

This is beautiful.. I love the 'rustic' look and the sepia tone adds quite a bit to that here... great shot :) - setzler

Very nice old and rustic look. I really like the way the sidewalk leads your eyes up to the door. Good luck in the challenge.

Good perspective, texture, shape and form, line ane even a little reflection all add up to a quality picture. One of the things I try and encourage my students to do is not shoot straight on at an image. If you you were to move a little to the left or right of the side walk it would add a little creativity to the work. JG

good use of black and white here.. adjusting the angle so the building is more level might help

i love this image but it needs to be rotated to the left about 8 degrees.

challenge met. nice tonal range in this photo, and duotone is a good choice for this old wooden church. i like all the textures. the symmetry is a good choice, also. the only nitpick i have is that the picture may need rotating just a tad (CCW). i would also considering cropping a bit more off the bottom. leave some of the path, just not as much. just a thought. good entry :)

I took me a minute to see that this is not crooked. Your step and path are level, it's the church that is crooked. You're color work is excellent and by leaving a long path to it, we are left to wonder who else has walked down this path in the years past. Great shot.
