 Thanks everyone for your high votes...never suspected a PB for this shot! This wasn't really a "setup" shot...we are a country family that makes do with what we have. This really is our "swimming pool" and I didn't ask the kids to do anything special...I just documented their time in the tank. The only thing I asked from them is to please ignore the camera and don't try to smile :)

I can't tell you how many times I would go swimming on our horse farm in the watering tanks. Mind you we had a swimming pool but that didn't distract from the lovely green glowing slime in the tanks...nope not one bit...lol Great picture...soooo well done!!!

It's not often I look on the front page and say, that deserved a ribbon. Well, this deserved a ribbon. Its honesty, intimacy and lack of pretense are its great strengths. Please continue to not "do anything special," and, paradoxically, you'll continue to make something special. This is excellent.

the effect of the children in the water is captured perfectly. one somber, one almost smiling. it's a "set up" that is so extreme that it becomes something more than a "set up." It forces the subjects to be participants. I'm hanging this in my fantasy gallery
