[Critique club]
Jæjja, nú er Ãslendingur kominn à Critique club :)
I like this picture and it is a excelent portrait and everyting so lets go through the steps that I have seen from other Critique club members.
Composition:
Its a nice image and the guys position in the frame is good but the thing that I can find on it is that the guy behind his head is kinda distracting so you might have cropped him away or tried to get rid of him into some black mist made with curves or higlight burn.
Lighting:
Ligting is cool, dunno if you used a fill flash but the light puts the attention straight at his face
Post-Processing:
This is something that this picture is lacking I think. You could have worked this picture very much better with different settings like curves, levels, dodge and burn. You should use it to your advantage that it is a memberchallenge so that you can truly use the whole spectra of the rules.
Suggestion/Improvements:
Nothing much I can say to improve but to burn the guy behind him away :) Other then that a very nice portrait.
Vonandi hjálpar þetta eithvað :) og gangi þér vel à keppnunum og mundu að við erum með okkar eigin Ãslensku útgáfu af þessu :) Getur séð meira um það à prófælnum mÃnum :)

Good composition and depth of field chosen here.
Image could be just a little sharper, which would be a little more relaxing on my eyes as they try and find the natural sweet spot in the shot (his eyes). |

I would crop a little off the right. The person behind him is distracting. |

Nice twinkle in those eyes! I think I'd have cropped out the guy behind him. |

Great shot of a regular-guy. I'm a sucker for shots of people in turbans, for some reason. Maybe it's the bit of mystery it adds along with the foreign component. [10] |

Focus feels a little soft, but a really nice expression and nice patterns and colors. |

Missed the focus! Would ahve been much better had it been tack sharp. |

Nice moment. Could have been more effective with some more processing, I think.. dodge the eyes, maybe even convert to B/w? |

Good expression, but I would like to see a tighter focus on the eyes |

Very nice. Reminds me of the male version of that famous National Geographic shot of the woman in Afghanistan. |

This is great. Usually you see this kind of dress with very serious somber faces. This is refreshing and draws you in! Good job! |

Delightful study - pity about the other face in the background. |

As soon as it came up on screen I thought it was ever so slightly motion blurred. Now in studying it I can see that his eyes are sharp, his headwear is relatively sharp, but perhaps the pattern is tricking my eye- it can't seem to settle on the image. Great capture though. |
