You know I got to looking at this photo and realized it could have been shot differently.
Try to sharpen it a bit with more contrast/brightenness. Just from looking at the photo I can see where the sun was and it is up high. The worst time to take pictures. Try it when the sun is lower in the sky and the light won't wash out the picture as much.
I do love this shot. You are good and getting some cute poses. I will have to keep this one in mind when I start my business. |

What a great shot! One of my favorites, this shot is just classic. Doesn't even look "set up"! He looks happy as a clam sitting there with his lollipop. Color, composition, and concept all great. |

Cute shot. I like it better w/o the sky/top of the fence. Focus seems a tad off on the boy (more sharp on the chair back). Contrast is a little low, too. 7 Rob the Swash |

Nice concept with the earth tones and a spalash of color. I wish the red popped a bit more. |

Great capture. I am sure he hated posing for this one! haha. Two things, the straight on angle makes the shot appear flat, though it is a good way to get a profile. I think a lower, more frontal angle showing more of his face would have been effective. It might have also correct the slight tilt the picture seems to have. The second thing is that the colors are a bit flat. Maybe a touch of saturation or brightness/contrast would help. Good work. |

I like this. I don't think you needed the top of the fence though. The part of sky and tree peeking through draws the eye up and away from the subject. The subject is wonderful and the background works well. |

I like the photo ,now here comes the but.. Love to see that red shirt and lolly pop jump out at me little more color saturataion and crop off the top about a fifth or quarter way down just below the top rail. Like how the swing is tilted with his/her weight . It tells a story. |

Very sweet shot! Num, num.... (Note: bribe subject with candy, got it!) - Nicely done! [Possible critique: Centering the shot (moving to your left), might have improved the shot by squaring it up.] |

Rotated just a little, this would have been perfect. |

Nice. Simple and effective. Would a portrait mode, closer crop in on the kid have more impact? Also, a little boost in contrast would help bring out the texture in the wood. Still a very nice shot. |

a little rotation would have helped. if i had had a kid model with one of these - oh, step up and tell him to stick out his popsicle red tongue! such opportunities!!! |

The epitome of a happy kid. lol All that's missing is a new puppy. Great composition. I only wish you were a bit closer to him..making him the central subject. I do understand why you shot it this way. Great colors also. |

Aw the little cutie is having a quiet moment with his lollipop. Your image looks overexposed which is a shame because you would have gotten slightly better colour saturation with a proper exposure.. I would have maybe cropped in a bit tighter too. Good luck! |

Did you tell him that the bribe WAS the picture. I like the subtle gray tones playing off the color. |

The lighting is in a really nice spot for this pic. There is just a little too much of it though. It would've been better a little darker. Also it seems a little off on the horizon part of it. Good shot aside from those 2 things |
