This is a great shot - your flora AND fauna had amazing DoF. I can't believe HOW perfect it is to JUST nab the edges and soften it up. *sigh* I'll just sit back and listen to you - works that way. :)
Congrats. |

I like this shot. Since I didn't have a photo entered I didn't vote, but I did look through the photos. I expected this one to do much better. The soft fuzzy feel... with just a tad of focus to let the viewer know it was intentional is just great! |

I wanted it to look fluffy - hence the shallow DoF. Not sure many people liked it though! Thanks for the comments. |

Great deep colours and shallow DOF. I love the effect it has on the dandelion hairs. Nice photo. |

Excellent. I love your use of a shallow DOF. The white really stands out against the background. Good job. Jacko. 9 |

Well placed and very good focus on the subject. It gives the edges a very soft feeling. |

Excellent shallow DOF, well done! The blurred green background highlights the main subject perfectly, love it! Cool title :-) |

Great color, texture and balancing components in the background. Looks like some selective blurring outside the middle of the flower, but it works well here. |

The whites are outstanding. I think a tighter shot would have been a stronger composition. |

I would have preferred more depth of field in this shot. Just my personal opinion, though. The shallow dof gives it a lot more perspective. |

Super subject, a pity there is not more DOF here, that would have added enormously to make this a winning shot! |

Really nice shot, like the focus... |

The softness in this photo is soliciting a 'touch'. The razor thin depth of field works well here... the dandilion has a nice soft 'halo' around it that improves the theme of 'softness' even more... great shot :) = 10 - setzler |
