I think what I really like about this photo is that our eyes are drawn straight to the words, even though they are not in the center of the photo. The glasses draw our eyes right to where they need to be. Excellent placement of the subject. The glasses only being part way in the photo also works for me beacuse if the other lens had been in the photo, then we'd be looking through that one and not the one we need to be looking through. if that makes any sense.
Focus is excellent throughout the photo. I see a couple comments suggesting that the non branch part of the book be out of focus, but I don't think that's needed with the way you set up the image.
Lighting is good. I like the shadows from the glasses. Nothing distracting there.

I like this shot, but would have prefered a shallower DoF more I think if it were possible....it's kind of a long entry so maybe that wouldn't work anyhow. I really like how you framed it with the glasses though. |

Interesting concept, but I think it's more graphic than photographic--I could be wrong on this. It would be difficult to comment to photo quality. |

VERY CREATIVE...love how it is so clear and the lens of the glass doesnt blur it. was there even a lens within the frame? |

Good - I would have liked it better if you could have gotten different lenses so that the rest of the page was out of focus somewhat. |

It's strange that the glasses are not magnifying the text; I would have expected that, but maybe they're just weak reading glasses. This is a unique take on the challenge, so a kudo for that. |

I like this alot! Creative, yet un-complicated! Well done photo effectively drawing the viewer to the definitioin of"branch". Nice rich color tones filling the frame.
I think this is a winner! |

Good use of a classic shot. It might have been even better if the text not seen through the eye glass were thrown out of focus. |

A different take on the challenge. I like how the paper is so brown-yellowy-parchment-like. Shadows are nice too. |

I really like this photo because it's unique and I like how you used the dictionary. It makes an interesting background and how in the lens there is the definition right there. |

This isn't the first time I've seen a dictionary with the definition of a challenge used, but I like the angle and the glasses for magnification. At least it isn't a stinking limb with some leaves. THANK YOU 8 |

A little cliched ... but that is how we learn. Well executed though. |

Could have maybe experimented with magnifying glasses between the camera lens and glasses to leave the definition of branch as slightly sharper than the rest. Then again it may overdo what has been achieved with the framing already.
