The photo is probaboy not the best. I have had a lot of computer troubles, so don't have time to reshoot. However I am happy enough with it.

Anyway, its a photo of me. I have no timer on my camera so I had to take this photo myself. I used a tropical materal as my bg, and just had one lamp. The photo is a mirror of my face, as the original was facing the other angel, but I have found magazines tend to face the right, as they want to lead you into it.

Not much work, fixed colors a little, then Neat Imaged it, then sharpened.

Thanks everyone. I was nervous using a self portrait. I know the lighting is not good, but I don't have good lighting at all. Its not bourry, its soft, which is the look I went for. I think with my camera, I did a pretty good job of it :)

Is the B for blurry?

The lighting is a bit strong but there is a slight softness that make it pretty nice.

I think the contrast is a bit harsh. There is something in the expression which looks a bit startled to me....

Very attractive. Her expression is a little unusual for a women's magazine, though. She seems a bit surprised (wide eyed) to me, and not that relaxed.

pretty lady. i wish the focus on the eyes was sharp tho. also the stuff at the right edge is distracting.

Excellent portrait - nice soft focus feel to it. Never read B! but now I'm interested. 10

I wish I could see the model's other eye. The shadow is just too strong, though I love the photo otherwise, What a wonderful leading line from her chin to her hairline - the composition is VERY nice! A little reflector to minimise the shadow, and it'd be close to a 10

B! is one of my favorite magazines. This girl looks like she could be a cover model. I don't really like the border though, and wish her face wasn't so close up. 7.
