| after reading your explanation, I "get it" now but I sure wasn't in the minority. thinking out of the box is encouraged here but this was a stretch, even though it is a wonderfully executed image. |

| Nice shot. However, this is QUITE a stretch for the "Mother" challenge. I'll give it a 6, but it would have been an 8 in a "Bubbles challenge. |

| Hmm...sorry, I see absolutely NO connection to the challege topic, and though I have looked at this for awhile, and tried to think of a possible connection, for me, there is none. For me, personally, this is a DNMC. |

| Nice color, lighting, and clarity; makes for a very interesting abstract macro...however...it is quite vague in it's connection to the "Mother" challenge. It's difficult for a viewer to establish a connection to "Mother" by looking at bubbles. I have a feeling you'll suffer in the voting for that reason alone. DPC is historically rigid on challenge interpretation and if your voters can't get the connection within a few seconds, you are out of luck. Best wishes in this and subsequent challenges. |

| great shot of bubles, but where's mother... mother nature? conception? im not sure what you were trying to get accross in thsi shot. I feel like there was no meaning to it just something that looks nice. |

| I am sorry, but I do not see the relationship to the theme with this photo. "Mother" can represent many ideas and views but I cannot see how this photo represents "Mother". |

| Unfortunatly I couldnt get mother out of this. If you could call it maybe cells, being part of mother nature or something I cold maybe connect it but just bubbles...I still gave it a 5 even though I normally socre lower for one I cant connect to a challenge. I like your colors and the focus on the bubbles is good, crop is nice, just dont get mother... |

| You'll have to forgive me if I completely miss the connection to the challenge here. I have thought of 'mother' in every sense I can think of, and not once do bubbles cross my mind. The shot is neat. I like the bubbles, and the color is amazing. Focus on the bubbles is nice and crisp, and DOF is appropriate. The photo just says nothing about Mother to me. Sorry. ~Heather~ |

| Awesome! This is just perfect! My top pic! The best. Two thumbs up, five stars and a definite candidate for best of the decade challenge. I can't say enough good things about this. So few dare to go outside the box, but you did it! You ventured out! Good for you! Bravo! Let's see... I think "1" means "First Place" so I am giving this first place. |
