| Nice picture, love the contrast of the checked pattern, and the bit of color added by the pepper. Focus, exposure, and composition all perfect. I also like the dimension that has been added by the drop off in the lower left. |

| Love the checkers... much more interesting than plain black or white. Interesting idea to have it draped over the side of something so it goes down and isn't just flat too. Gives more depth to the shot and almost makes it seem like the pepper is about to fall off. Well done! |

| I like this image alot. The falling edge of the tablecloth brings your eye straight to the corner. Nice idea to use a B&W back round. |

| The dramatic B/W checked background, gives a greater impact of the yellow pepper. Brilliant image, so well done.....Could be up for a ribbon here..... It also has a optical feel about it, as it appears to be moving. |

meets the challenge perfectly, maybe you could jast make the black squares totally black(the front ones have some white grain). Idea and overall appearance are great.

| This is an excellent concept for the challenge but there's something that seems a little "off" to me - perhaps if the diagonals from the checked pattern didn't come straight toward the viewer, but were more at an angle. |

| A nice shot. (9) from me. I bumped it up. Like the offset of the pepper against the black and white. I prefer something different for the description of this challenge, but this particular composition I just feel is deserving. |
