Good concept, like the idea of the title, you took this in the mid day the sun is really harsh on the whole picture, try to take photos in early morning or before susnet,

Per your forum post, I'd like to give you my view of what the comment by Falc refers to... the commentor may choose to correct me if I'm wrong when the comments become visible after the close of voting.
Your shot refers to the road as a "road to dreams," implying that the basketball court can be a place where dreams come true. That's truly an American attitude, more than anywhere else in the world most likely. that's probably a large component of what the commentor, who is from the UK, is talking about.
He also points to specific things, exposure, composition, etc. that don't appeal to him, and suggests avenues for improvement. Don't take these as negatives, but use them to learn and to take your photography to the next level.

This is going to sound very brutal, but I find this very bland and very 'American'. Doesn't really appeal to me in any way. Exposure is over cooked in the foreground, but the main problem is there is nothing to look at. Just imagine a group of young kids actually playing, or a single youngster walking along the track .... wouldn't that have more impact?
