You beat me Ken, but just "bearly", nice score for a fun time.

If this was truly taken in the wild then you deserve bonus points for bravery - it's a great action shot and still well composed. |

For your sake, I hope this was taken at a zoo! Good shot. |

If this was in a 'natural environment' you're a braver person than I! Lovely shot with great focus and framing. |

Eep. How close were you? Did you have to wake him up to get this shot? ;) |

He looks like he's going for your shooting partner instead of you. Great job Ken! |

Good image. But there seems to be something lacking about it - i guess that special something... perhaps if the bear had been looking exactly at you.. am just saying this off the top of my head... Good focus. |

Given the spirit of the challenge was to capture a shot of wildlife in its natural environment, I find it most difficult to believe that this was done with your entry. Needless to say my vote on this was very low given those circumstances. When a photo does not do its best in composition to depict actual challenge guidelines, my stadegy for voting immediately stops and it becomes a DNMC to me. When huge known to attack man animals are hunted down, I don't believe they will be for the purposes of a graphic ribbon. |

I hope you were using a long lens on this one. What are those lines in the upper right? |
