I wish I had a horse...can I borrow that one?
07/21/2002 06:18:00 PM

07/21/2002 02:46:00 PM
slightly out of focus
07/21/2002 09:08:00 AM
not crisply clear

Focus
07/19/2002 11:43:00 PM
Great framing, though there seems to be some focus/blur issues. The photo might be overexposed too.
07/19/2002 04:33:00 PM
I like the way you framed/cropped this. Too bad the photo is a little blurry though.
07/19/2002 03:07:00 PM
Good abstract, excellent range of light and texture. 7-ClubJuggle.

This is a case where the eye needs to be very sharp even if the rest of the photo isnt. Always prefocus on the eyes in a photo like this.

Good composition, seems to be a bit lacking in sharpness though.

It needs to be better focused on the eye . Good framing.
07/18/2002 08:23:00 AM
closeup needs more focus
07/18/2002 02:52:00 AM
lovely horse. Wish the hair was also in focus so that the texture would show thru.
07/17/2002 06:40:00 PM
I really like this shot, a bit out of focus, but extremely nice. Definitely one for a frame.
07/17/2002 05:01:00 PM
missed your focus or camera shake or subject movement at critical point with slow shutter speed?
07/17/2002 01:43:00 PM
Nice colours, shame about that eyelash.
07/17/2002 12:56:00 PM
i like this. the texture in this is good, and you have the folds in the neck, the hair, and the eye is really good.
07/17/2002 11:16:00 AM
nice composition. Light is a little off.
07/17/2002 10:38:00 AM
I played around with shots like this of my dog...I like this a lot. I love all the shades of brown...from her eye to the blonde of her mane.
07/17/2002 09:28:00 AM
Good capture of color, like the use of lightto highlite eye
07/17/2002 08:47:00 AM
This is an excellent idea for a photo :) I would really be into this shot if the image was a little sharper... good work :) = 7 - jmsetzler

nice composition, but could do with a little sharpening. An 8
07/16/2002 09:57:00 PM
An excellent composition that makes the photo, but the focus is much too soft. My opinion is that a closeup like this should be tack sharp in the foreground. Having said that, I still score this high for originality though technically flawed.
07/16/2002 09:54:00 PM
great close up!! Nice lighting
07/16/2002 08:16:00 PM
seems to be a bit out of focus.
07/16/2002 08:03:00 PM
This is a good picture, but it appears a little burred. I still like it though
07/16/2002 04:56:00 PM
If this was a little sharper it would be great.
07/16/2002 01:12:00 PM
Focus on the eye is a bit off.Otherwise good pix.
07/16/2002 12:22:00 PM
Now there is a portrate of a different color. I like it.
07/16/2002 02:42:00 AM
what a beautiful horse. nice shot too. good composition, and I like how you can see what she's looking at in the reflection in her eye. I would like it even more if it were perfectly focused.
07/15/2002 08:28:00 PM
Could use a bit of sharpening and color adjustment to take out some green hue. What was your white balance set to (if you have that)?
07/15/2002 07:34:00 PM
this is nice...
07/15/2002 05:13:00 PM
Perfect name for her. Lovely shot. Kee
07/15/2002 04:21:00 PM
out of focus
07/15/2002 02:51:00 PM
What a beautiful capture! The detail and texture is there. A second shot of this roan could easily have placed in the FEAR challenge. Looks like s/he's not quite comfortable with you that close...or is s/he looking at someone else? Either way, beautifully framed. One of the nicest animal shots in the entire challenge! Be proud!!
07/15/2002 02:47:00 PM
I like this view. Seems a little undefined (out of focus) overall, maybe my eyes are just tired. 7 Swash
07/15/2002 01:47:00 PM
Shows a good feel for the animal-warmth and a beautiful texture of the coat
07/15/2002 01:26:00 PM
i like the composition and close-up a lot, the highlight in the horse's eye is also good, but the whole photo looks like it should be sharper, that detracts from it. -- gr8photos (4)

I love your photo. One of the best I've seen so far.
07/15/2002 12:18:00 PM
nice... a bit more sharpness and more color with've made it great.
07/15/2002 02:00:00 AM
Nice closeup, though I would have liked to see a bit more of the horse. It could be a bit sharper too.
07/15/2002 01:12:00 AM
dah dah dah dah dah, dee da dah dah dah dah dah. Comnposition is great, but the focus on the eye is horrible, and the exposure is lacking.
