Thanks edmeng, I didn't think I would actually pass your score but just had my eye on it. I would definitely trade that score and ribbon for a D200 any day! |

Ok, I admit, you bit my top D50 score, but I̢۪ve changed my camera, so I don̢۪t care anymore ;).

Thanks, I had been eyeing that top D50 score for awhile now, I realized about mid week that I would get there and was almost as excited for that as I was at a chance at a ribbon. |

| Would have been tempted to clone out the left lower pole and gull and the upper right gull. But then again, I like the gulls too. The image is very crisp and clean. |

| Nice work in capturing this. Nice that you kept the gull in the top right. Perhaps a bit more blue for him to fly into before darting out of the picture? (IOW: Make the pic a tad wider?) |

| Clever. It's perhaps the most witty use of a shadow in this challenge. Genetic pedants might say it's not really a double helix (more of a twin helix) but even they would have to admire the steps treads so convincingly representing the base molecular bonds. Plus a bonus point for including the pair of birds. 8. |

| That is some great shadow. I'm unconvinced about the lamp post though.. I'm guessing you left it in because of the feature seagull on the top, but I think maybe that is just distracting from the shadow as the main subject of your image. |
