Challenge: Indulgence (Basic Editing III)
Camera: Canon PowerShot S2 IS
Location: Bedroom

Aperture: 2,7
ISO: 50

I expected this picture to come out better but I was running out of time.
And I regret not having a wide angle lens yet since it would've helped me a lot in this challenge.

Everything you see in the picture has something to do with the band. Included are shirts, backpacks, notebook, Cd's, DVD's, official action figures with certificate of authenticity, autographs plus lots of posters and more.

During post-processing:
Levels, Brightness, Contrast, Color Balance/Correction, Saturation Enhancement, Croping and Resizing.

why emo guys? the focus issue is not your fault the S2 is weak t in indoor light... i should know i sold dozens of them anyways becasue it was still the best camera at the time for that zoom.

Regarding HotShot7's question below, "What's the name of the band"
It's not that out of focus, if you look closely, you will find at least 14 places that say "Good Charlotte". That may be a definite clue.

I would have included more of the ceiling and not the object in the bottom-left corner. With my luck I probably would have made it more blurry or too much contrast. If you didn't use a tripod, maybe that would help.

Tip: For very low angle shots use a home made sand-bag or bean-bag or bag of oats, instead of a tripod you could use a bag on a stepladder, pogo-stick (monopod), roof of you car, anything stationary. That allows for a greater variety of shots, varying exposure/aperture/lighting/DOF.

I just thought of the "sandbag" last tuesday shooting a sunset on rocky-pier.

I like this - it reminds me of my room when I was a teenager! I had every inch of wall covered including the ceiling! I love it! Cheers! Cat

a lot to look at. Point of view in typical place - would like to see it lower, closer to stuff on table. don't need to include it all, just a hint of everything to get the idea. colors and focus good.
