| The "something old" you mentioned in the title was the fence. Maybe you could incorperate the fence in with the bottle and have a larger impact. Also, maybe kick some dirt up onto the bottle to make it look more like it's been there awhile. sitting here looking at it, (don't know where the fence was in ralation to the light and the fence) would have looked great with the old fence reflecting onto the bottle there in that bar of light. |

(I'm being frank -NOT to offend) The image quality is good - focus, color / lighting. I'm not sure that the bottle is really that old. This isn't telling me much. I see a shot of a bottle on the ground - The title isn't helping me much either - fence? I do like the different colors and textures. 6

| I thought of this subject, but felt it would be really hard to actually make a good picture of it, requiring either alot of rubbish or something interesting about the rubbish like it being a new home for a mouse. This pic confirms my suspicions, its visually uninteresting, even with the fence reflected in it. |

| Hmm. The bottle isnt all that old and it's largely obscured. The leafy ground is suitably old looking though and I like the slant of looking at how something new tossed into an old setting seems like vandalism. The title looks like it's trying to save the photo and that alone might get get you some negative comments. Personally I dont like the title so I'm basically disregarding it for the purposes of judging. |

| Hmmm... I struggle with photos like this one... I can't tell if you were making an honest effort to participate competitively in the challenge or not... your title conflicts with the image... are the dead leaves the subect of 'old' here or is it the invisible 'old' fence suggested by the title? - jmsetzler |
