WOW! This is one of those photos that make me study it closely to try to figure it out. It's an interesting abstract! A little lightening and contrast would enhance it. |

great spiraling action going on. I like how the curves are interrupted by the straight lines of the beams. also good colors. the one thing wrong is that the focus looks a little fuzzy, like you tried to handhold a long exposure or something. good photo, though. |

i must be missing something here - what should make me think that it's abandoned? all stairs are still there. interesting perspective, colors are a little muted, especially when contrasted with the red handrail which draws a lot of my attention). overall not the most fascinating subject matter to me, sorry. -- gr8photos (4) |

I like the way the red rail leads your eyes through the stairs. This picture has a neat effect. karmat |

I like the patterns in this image... I think a little extra sharpness would be a nice enhancement :) - jmsetzler |

Good idea. Not as strong as it could be though. |

Weird, it looks sort of like an umbrella. But I'll take your word it's a spiral stairwell :-) The red railing is really nice in there. Interesting subject, seems a little bit soft though. I hate leaving that comment, but it really does. |

Interesting viewing angle - really draws the eye down to the bottom of the stairwell and holds it there. It's a little gloomy but that's obviously down to the location - not much you could do with that. Some strange blockyness on the red rail in the top right corner. Seems to be because it's against the gridwork metal floor. Nothing to do with your camera or processing - just an odd optical effect I think. |

this was a good idea. There is something off about the light. mayb if it was a little brighter to more sharply delineate the steps. |

Very interesting shot; I like the composition, but "old" is not the first thing that comes to mind. lhall |

Great subject and position. Wish it were more crisp and sharp -- the red spiral line adds a nice touch. |

Your auto focus really got fooled here. |

Good idea, but I think you should have the focus either in the middle or at the bottom, because that is where the eye is lead. |
