I love this, but wish it was a little darker and not cut off on the bottom. |

Nice light, a little jaggy though. |

This is kind of sweet, and I like the detail on the bottom of the foot, although I find the picture just a little grainy and the bright strip at the left edge is distracting to me. Very unique though, most of the other baby pictures are "just" baby pictures. You used more imagination, focusing on a specific body part. |

this photo is beautifully composed, but very grainy and pixelated around the edges. you either cropped it out of a bigger photo and have a low pix camera, or you saved it too small (it's 62k, you are allowed up to 150k). b&w works well here. i was going to comment that more contrast would be nice, but that makes the feet too dark (i tried it). good job -- gr8photos (7) |

I liked your use of light and I feel that the B & W made the photo! |

I loved this in the thumbnail... couldn't wait to get to it... jumped down to click it open....Ahhh. How cute! but oh so dissappointing to see the stair step effect. Is your original intact?... i.e. is this a result of compression or something? Otherwise a wonderful photograph. Very emotive. |

nice shot. like the b&w. the image is pixilated though. you might look into that. if i could help let me know. only other suggestion would be not to crop the feet so close to the bottom of the frame. |

If you have a very low end camera, please ignore this comment....The toes appear jagged. This part is for any cam....The bright section on the left seems to bright for the rest of the pic. I prefer a little more contrast for a black and white shot. 6 Swash |

This is a nice image :) I particularly like the lighting here... The vertical white space on the left of the frame is a little awkward... I believe a more even background would work better. There also appears to be some post processing distortion on the image. I'm not sure what caused that.. it may be resizing upwards or poaaibly sharpening... Good shot :) - jmsetzler |

The edges are showing up jagged on my monitor. Dunno if you're aware of it or not. Still a sweet, precious picture. |

This is really a nice composition with good lighting. However, there appears to be a problem that probably resulted from the resizing. The outline of the image (toes, legs, etc.) have a terrible amount of digital artifacts that are probably from the jpeg compression. I say this because the file size is much smaller than allowed by the challenge rules. Most image editing programs allow you to set the amount of compression when saving as a jpeg file. I'm going to more or less overlook this problem, but I would like to share my view that with digital photography, competence with post processing can be almost as important as competence with the camera. It isn't much different than having good darkroom skills when working with film. |

Dont know what happened with the resolution on this one, but I do very much like the photo. I also think the Black and White is a perfect selction for this type of photo. |

I want to lose the open doorway or window at the right, to keep the background more consistent. Also the lower leg is cropped. If we crop in tight at top and right and even left, so this is same all way round, maybe that would work better? Yep just tried that and I like it better. 5, Kavey |

Very cute shot. You might want to look at the forum discussing resizing and optimizing issues. The toes have a very pixelly outline ... this could have been avoided by proper resizing or using a higher resolution when taking the photo. |

Very nice black and white, and the lighting edges the toes in a very effective way. An adorable, warm, loving photo. |

very nice. I like the composition and lighting, it would've been great if we could see more from the bottom. Also it seems a bit too sharpen and it got distorted. |

This is really cute. The lighting is a little bright around the toes, and I would love to see the difference of the black and white and the color. I like your photo. Congrats and good luck. |
