 The first few months of the year were great for my photography, then I became pregnant and my camera started collecting dust. I managed to capture many great photos but the serie that my challenge entry comes from is one of my all time favourites.
It was shot in February. I had been traveling around in a beautiful weather and when I thought I'd finished I saw this gorgeous sunset reflecting in the Blue Lagoon.
I had a hard time choosing just one but in the end I picked this one because of the amazing sky.
I did some post processing including converting from RAW, levels, sharpening and color fine tuning.

Whoa! I was hoping for top 20 when I saw I was above 7 but this is great. Thanks everyone!!! :D

Nice image. well exposed with nice colors, interesting clouds and its reflection. People are going to say something about the horizon being dead center, but I think in this case it actually works well in drawing the viewer in.

Absolutely stunning landscape. Looks like Iceland, so minus points for that: it seems to easy to get stunning landscapes there (just kidding, I'd only minus points if you were Australian...). Love the colours. DOF and focus is excellent. Nice tonal range too. Well done.

Stunning! The smooth textures of the water compared to the rough textures of the sky combined with the stark beauty of this place makes this a top 5 in this challenge for me.

A 1-pixel clone brush along some of horizon line would do wonders to remove the halo. Beautiful shot regardless.

Wow... this must be some of you freaks from Ãsland ;) Really stunning shot: colors, contrast, composition - everything is perfect. And the sky...!!! The only thing I don't like are those poles at the horizon. The large, rightmost one works really distracting.

Kind of a no-brainer 10 here. Must be from Iceland. If you live in a place like this, there should be a 2 point handicap! Great shot.

Best: As in Grindavik? The steam is classic, the sky colors are serene...my fav part is reflections and controlled editing..
