It is interesting how her little face and eyes in this shot come thru bigger than life. Excellent emotive capture. The body language is definitely saying "Go away, and leave me alone."

| Kinda funny, I actually have this selected as a favorite two times. This one is my favorite of the two. The skin tones are a little fuller and the overall shot is a little richer in this one. Still one of my all time favorite shots here on DPC. |

| One of my favorites. You placed well in the sea of so many great entries. Though I would've liked it to have placed higher. I'm with everyone here where I say the little girl's pose and especially expression makes this shot speak so loudly. The rest of the shot looks good as well. |

| there's a tension here between what we expect her to be feeling and what we suspect she really is feeling, especially after reading your title. I'd prefer it without the title, having the tension be more mysterious. Excellent use of space and depth. receding space goes black, middle space has an Escher-like illusion of flatness. A fascinating and compelling image. 9 |

Best: Looks like a mini-adult in the truth behind the expression. Composition is so "snapshott-ish", but somehow conveys reality and blunt examination. Shadow in upper left
