The b&w and repetition of triangular shapes make this photo very interesting to me. Very nice shot. lhall

You have definitely used Photoshop to enhance this picture Γ’€“ is it legal? Quick, start a forum :) Joking aside, this is a good idea and a well taken shot. I like the use of Γ’€“ is it sepia? Γ’€“ black and white, itΓ’€™s sharp and it fits the challenge. (9)

This is very creative. I wonder if the black spot at the bottom was done intentionally? I see that if the bottom book were straight, then the last part of the title would be cut off. I'd like to see a comparrison of it with and without the dark spot at the bottom. I think I like it though. Without it, the photo would be filled with nothing but 2 books and a pencil. Although I think that would be ok too, the dark spot adds just enough contrast to the books that it is really neat. Angle and focus are great. Lighting works really well with this photo. There are subtle shadows that are not distracting. Great job and good luck with the challenge.

Like the graininess (I am assuming it's deliberate?) and that this is in black and white. Works on a more graphic level than I think it would in colour.

Nice but to me it looks too much of a planned shot. I guess a little casual touch to the compsition would have made this more interesting.5
