Very clever ideaâ€Â¦ I like the shot; my only gripe would be that the composition makes the picture a little busy; perhaps tighter cropping of the picture, or a few less biscuits, might have helpedâ€Â¦ That is however, only a small gripe. A broken biscuit pot is a sad image but the shot itself it meets the challenge superbly :o( (9) |

good imagination, i am so much into lighting, this can be improved with lighting, but the idea itself is perfect for me. well not a happy picture though, but for me this clearly illustrates my childhood days-- bravo - a 10 4 u |

CRISIS! I hope the floor was clean before-hand. You could still eat those if it was. :) This shot actually provokes an emotional reaction in me. I guess I must love cookies more than I realised! 8 - floyd |

I hope this was a "take advantage of a bad situation" shot, and not "let's break the cookie jar for the challenge!" Great shot. Too bad the floor and the cookie jar are of similar color value, it would have been more striking. 9 Swash |

We've all been here! Good composition, but the dark biscuits are too dark to see the texture. Perhaps the lighting or contrast needs adjusting? 8. - Manic - |

I hope it's the only pot you broke for dpchallenge :-) It's a great idea. I just find it is a bit too cluttered: there is no main focal point. |

It cracks me up what people will do for good photos. And this one succeeded. lol. This is a great photo. I like the contrast of the vanilla cookies to the chocolate cookies. I like how they are not all the same cookie. Great way to fill the frame. Angle and focus are great. Congrats on the shot and good luck in the challenge. |

i like the slightly abstract pattern of the dark and light cookies, and the way they are interrupted by the shards of the cookie jar. 6, Kavey |

One of the best interputations of the challenge (for me)... I FELT the emotions a child would feel as soon as I saw it... Very well done... The dark cookies are tad too dark (for me), but otherwise a great shot |

oooo, you're going to be in soooo much trouble when your mom gets back! and you even took pics of the evidence??? sheez.. let me see. i think if this exposure were a bit brighter it would be better. the reason being is that you chose DARK cookies, and there's some detail loss on them. also could be cool if it were stopped motion, in the process of shattering. nice and creative. mag99 |

Cute idea. Poor sacrificial pot. <grin> I wish the focus was on the larger piece in the background rather than the bottom of the jar in the foreground. I wish I could see the texture in the chocolate cookies too. 5, just-married |

The cookies look too 'staged', like they were placed after this unfortunate, uh, accident. Good color and lighting, though a bit flat. I'm trying to figure out the reflection in the cookie jar - it's dark and looks almost like a horse in shape. I like the concept though - good effort. |

Too many of the pictures in this batch a static, posed, which is very unchildlike. I like the chaos and spontaneaity of this photo. |
