 Yeah, I know about the redeye. Not much I can do about it that's DPChallenge-legal. Also, I think it actually adds to the shot. The tight crop is due to the location of the lead singer and lead guitarist on either side... in this venue it's very difficult to get a clean shot of a drummer as the stage is in the corner and the drummer is obvuously at the back.

I don't see this as a candid image. To me, when a person is doing something where he/she knows that spectators are watching, the idea of "candid" goes away. 4 sjgleah

Title/pic well matched! Good stopped motion (almost stopped both drumsticks)!

this is fabulous. you managed to catch him with virtually no motion blur--very nice! good band shots are difficult--but you got it! interestingly--his facial expression goes perfectly with his demon eye--making it almost seem intentional--like part of his "stage costume". nice work! 9--amitchell

this guy looks freakin pissed! i love the passion and intensity on his face. the red eye compliments his demonic nature good offcenter crop. great colors, esp in the drum heads. nice work! mag99
