| Except for the "big hand" (visual distortion due to differering distances), this is a very good shot. I think I would have preferred a little more light on the face. Focus is very nice, strong impact on the child. Nice contrast. Personal nit: Did it look bad in color? 9 Swash |

| If this one isn't in the top 3, I'll be surprised. My only critique is that there's quite a bit of sunlight in the photo, but not on the subject's face. You've captured a great moment here. |
