I think this has cultural overtones I'm not familiar with, but I am getting a feeling of 'left-outness' here. Is this what you are trying to convey? |

I like this subject and the contrast of green and reds in the photo but the one thing that i'm only partial to is the composition. For me, there is too much grass in the upper and left sections of the frame and it distracts from the player. It might be more appealing to me if the left side of the bench were closer to the left edge of the frame and if it were situated a bit higher in the frame to better balance out the color. Plus, it would show more of the bench (if it's empty) and lead the eye through the entire frame, left to right. Good job. Score: 7 Courtenay |

Humorous title, poor kid. (Equipment Manager with a uniform!) Very good photo. Great color. Framing....Not crazy about it, but I think I see why you did it this way. 8 Swash |

Oh...the little sweetheart! How would it be to be the only kid on the bench. Great shot! this is when the phrase "A picture is worth a thousand words" is true. There is such irony in this picture. It's obvious that their is a lot of noise and action going on somewhere nearby yet this photo is incredibly still. Not only that, it's technically good. |

Awww...poor kid! Great pic...excellent subject choice! I like the extra grass at the top and around him...makes him look even more alone (and sad) adding to the emotion. Great job! -KrazyKat |

You might want to look into the 'rule of thirds' for a way to liven this picture.

This is an excellent candid. This is the position I played... "Bench Guard Tackle". I sat on the bench, guarded the water, and tackled anyone who tried to get it :) Good work... = 8 - jmsetzler |
