 Photographer’s Notes
My wife enjoys gardening and has planted a garden which is constantly in bloom. First one species blooms, then the next, and then the next after that. In the end, we have a variety of flowers of different sizes, colors, textures from Spring through Fall.
At the moment we have 5 different flowers in bloom. I had taken photos during the day but was dissatisfied with the harsh light. I tried again at Sunset and again at dawn until I got the right light. I am very pleased with these. It feels a little like a stretch for the theme, and I know voters don’t reward shoehorn entries. Maybe folks will have enough imagination this time.

This would have been really cool if you cropped to only include the center of the flower and left out any other background. What great textures and contrasting colors.
