This is a great shot, but to keep the image even the clothing at the bottom should have been moved for a more dramatic effect.

I'd prefer a black background. Perhaps the girl needs to turn her head to face the boy more. whatever you were holding up to distract them had done a good job.

What a terrific shot. I love the low light, and how the whole photo has such a warm soft feel to it. Also, they are quite beautiful children. Nice. lhall

Stunning....I love this! I am not much on the tech talk for I am a mere novice....a neophyte really. But this piece of art is exquisite!

The dark area above their heads does not seem to add to the picture but the shot is very good.

Good try. Not total success - with his face and rug shouldn't have shown up. Other wise good picture and like the idea.

It'll be interesting to see how many people understand the title (being from Scotland it makes perfect sense to me). Nice photo, well lit on the faces against the black background, although the girls face seems a little defocused. One of my favs this week. Crumbles

Great- I wish they had both been looking wide eyed at the same point but you were probably lucky to ge them both in the shot. Really nice lighting. The littleguy cropped by himself would also make a great shot. 9

I love this picture. The lighting is beautiful and the dark background compliments those gorgeous dark eyes. The only little thing I would change is the piece of fur material below the faces. Because that is the only place that is shows, it is a bit distracting to me. Wonderful job.

Cute kids. The little girl looks like Pippa from the Stephen King movie Storm of the Century. The lighting is good. I like the angle and framing/cropping you have chosen here. With the size restrictions of the site, I know it wouldn't be legal, but outside of the challenge, I would like to see this with a bit cut off the top. to make it challenge legal, however, I think you could crop a bit off the right to even it out and still keep the size limit. Overall nice shot. And wonderful models. Good luck in the challenge. ~Hbunch7187~

This is a great portrait of these kids! You've done a wonderful job of using just one light source to exemplify 2 subjects! Great job! - 8- JB

I wish only the childrens heads were visible instead of being able to see background curtains and what looks like a bear or fur on the bottom.
