I have sempermarine to thank for this image. He had made a post in my birthday thread and with the greasemonkey addon that allows me to see profile pics I was able to see his fright wig covered head staring at me. Just Saturday we were at Wal Mart and Rowan wanted this fright wig. Cost me all of 2 bucks with the Halloween sales going on. But had I not seen Jeffs profile pic I probably wouldnt have thought of it.

Straight forward image with a fairly non complex edit. Tried to keep it clean, real and colorful. Love that it is in the new higher entry dimensions - 800x800 and 300kb makes for some darned good looking entries. I dont figure it to score real well, but we had fun shooting it. An interesting counter balance to the image I have of Aidan up in the face paint challenge.

Post challenge - whooh hooh! Ribbon #32 - and right on top of a pic of my boy. Two goofball images on the front page of my kids at the same time. Cant complain. Thank you for the votes and comments. Sure makes for a fun week.

this just sparkles ...!!!
its an adorable portrait and the coloured hair makes it quirky and different .. it looks like she's just about to blow a bubble .. that just adds to the cuteness of this shot ..

Knew it had to be you or your wife dude... She's sweet as she can be - and she looks perfectly like a young clown in the rainbow wig. But there was no doubt in my mind that she was the kid we've been seeing on the front page! No shame in sticking with what works! You've got a great formula going and you should keep using it - 'cuz it's working!

All formulas aside, it was a colorful, creative, shot that capitalized on the rule of thirds, crisp focus, and strong emotion of the subject. Well done and congrats again.

BTW: Do you have any kids who are available for rent? I could probably se some in my next shoot. HAAHAA
