I was driving back from Isaac's dentist when we spotted this biplane mounted on the building across the intersection.
While waiting at a red light: I grabbed the camera back from Isaac (shooting sunsets from the back seat), zoom in, point/shoot on full auto, through the windshield.
I cropped out a lot of extraneous stuff, so the graininess is quite pronounced. The shot is also only about 30 degrees away from being straight into the sunset, adding to the quality problems.

Yeah, yeah... you gonna get serious, or just screw around?

I am sure you have your reasons for doing it this way, but I am not real fond of the aqua tint to the shot. otherwise, I wish there were a bit more light on the plane to bring out some more detail. Definately news worthy. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~

First thing that jumps out at me is the green color of the photo. Is your white balance off or is this the normal way your camera takes photos. Then that looks like an ordinary image with poor composition. There are traffic lights, top of the bus and a lamp post that all take away from the photo. Too much emphasis on the title to save the image.

Very Cute title.

not very clear, and doesn't really look like a plane landed on a theatre. looks like a decoration on a building....... a wider shot might and angle making the wheels look like they are on the roof might work better

Coloration here is not really appropriate. You also should have waited for bus/truck to have cleader, or cropped it out. But picture looks forced in lighting and magnification to me.

Cute idea. I like the story but don't like the photo. Bad colorization, in my opinion. Ruins the picture. PTL2

too much noise in this image

cute! : )

I think a horizontal crop that eliminated some of the "open" sky would be more effective than the vertical. Also, was the greenish-blue cast intentional? If not, maybe some white balance correction would help. If it was, I would love to know why you chose to do that! karmat

Why's it blue? it might have been better if the hue was normal...

I don't know whether the bluish tint was intentional, but it is quite distracting. I'm afraid that the composition leaves a bit to be desired, too, with too many distractions in the shot, like the traffic light, top of a vehicle, light pole, etc., etc...

Okay this is a good idea but it just doesn't make a homerun. The shot is tilted, color is off, too much grain, the airplane is hard to see because it's dark, the roof of the car needs to be cropped out. Other then that...and really I'm not slamming your shot all to heck......it just needs a few improvements. The idea is creative and right on target for the challenge. 6 Justine

really didn't like the colors very well

Everything is cyan...... :/ Was that intentional?

NO
