Hi Sahko:
Initial: We've all seen this scene too many times, and have acted the same in as this as well. This is emotive; guilt feelings, sadness, pity, etc.
Composition: The scene composed itself. The subject.. the man sitting on the bench, is oblivious to the others and his surroundings. He seems used to being ignored. (how sad). Perfect timing to get the man to be giving that curious yet judgemental look, and to get the woman walking swifly past... almost urgently to get away from the area, and the guilt. Her eyes are cast down. She does't want to see it.
Colors & Quality: I think this would be stronger in Black & White. The brownish/sepia tone gives a classic/timeless look, where as the black and white would give it more of a dramatic/harsh feeling which goes with the mood of the photo. The focus/clarity could be a bit better, but otherwise, I would not change anything. |

Very good concept and execution. I like that you captured the woman in motion, walking away. Also the slightly curious man looking on. Grayce |

Nice composition. I like the fact that the woman in the foreground is blurred, it conveys her lack of care even more, perhaps it's a little too tightly cropped to the bottom of her feet. Nice tones and clarity. |

Great job, great title, great message. My first 10 this week. The people in motion really make this shot happen. 10 nards656 |

Should I be looking at the woman or the guy on the bench? They are competing visually. It is a pretty intersting photo still.

Well told story! Great shot! The blur on the woman in the foreground really adds to the story! She wants to make tracks away from the gentleman on the bench and you showed that exceptionally well... ~ Myqyl ~ |

Overall very well done! I like the way people are ignoring him as they walk by. Seems like it could use a teeny bit more contrast, though. - 8 |

Would have preferred this close on the subject or without woman in foreground. Good picture though. |

Wow, what a shot. Carries a lot of emotion. Definitely meets the challenge. Is this desaturated? If so, it works very well. I like your composition, with the older man seeming to look at the guy on the bench and the woman looking like she is getting by him as quickly as possible without having to actually see him. Very nice work. lhall |

Did you plan this shot to having the people walking by like that? Very good if you did. |

Composition: Subject Placement, Cropping, Background8, Technical: Focus, Exposure, Lighting, Processing7, Appeal: Is it Interesting, Motivating, Etc.? 7, Total Averaged Rating7. Autool IMO the relationship between the title and picture are key elements in this challenge. We probably cared last week. Good job.

Excellent photojournalistic picture, don't care for the title... wish you would have zoomed in and gotten rid of the woman on the left. Good try! |
