| You have enough wonderful shots as these(intentional camera blur) to make it a series. I like how Yanko says that it looks like an Enya song. I totally see it! |

Hey - I never realised that you had put this into a FS - or that it had got such a good result !
Goes to show how much nonsense is talked about people only voting for 'DPC Friendly' shots - whatever the heck they are . .

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Great image - creates such a mood of warmth and evoked almost the sound of the sea. Your exposure recreates the light perfectly, but most of all your use of movement blur works like a magic trick, seemingly adding to the information the brain has to work with rather than detracting from the detail on offer.
Critical stuff: Nothing at all.
Overall: A truly lovely image. |

I know that motion blur photos like this normally get hammered on DPC, but I hope this one doesnt. It looks as if you took it from another boat, with the camera on a tripod. As your boat rocked up and down, it created this.
Looks awesome, and hopefully does really well. |
