It loved this shot -- I think it should have a bluebird:

I like this for the mood that it evokes. Kind of one where you can see yourself getting lost in the moment and thinking about life. And hoping you don't lose that umbrella :D |

The idea behind the Posthumous Ribbon is to encourage you to break the rules, to find new and different ways to express yourself. To free your mind to think clearly toward the solution that is certain to come, to laugh at world and at life, not doing what others are expecting you to do, but just following and listening to what's in your heart. DPC it̢۪s a wonderful learning place where everyone should be supported on their way to be a photographer. A special attention should be aimed to those working hard with different views and approaches to photography, those not aligned with the mainstream taste and receiving no recognition. It̢۪s our responsibility to support these photographers creating diversity and expressing different visions. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to do it. Being active at the Posthumous thread it̢۪s the best way to protect your and the other̢۪s freedom of being different. Thanks for taking the time to enter this challenge. Stay wild. |

I really like this capture. I love the movement of the water against the calm of the person, but at the same time there is a story and one could almost feel that the storm and churning water could be inside that apparently calm person. It's almost as if the elements are reflecting what is inside. Beautiful! |

So much action - but the noise in the clouds distracts, but not enough to take away from the photo. 9 |

Laughing at the pose. Some type of primal sign of attempted dominance. |

Decent photograph, actually a very good photograph, but just a little bit too readily comprehensible for me :)
But I still enjoyed it, thank you. 7. |

This one sings to me, the one legged person who is using that umbrella as a cane, keeping their balance in that splashy wind. I like this photo because I can imagine myself there, and because it just looks very beautiful. (10) |

It certainly appears that this gentleman will get drenched. An umbrella in hand tells me he is indifferent to what mother nature has to say. Or, this is a rouge wave that caught him by surprise! We done on the timing of the capture. I love the b&w too. |

I get it. Umbrellas don't work well in the wind. Love the image - the tonal range - man against nature. |

Incongruous and marvelous. There is so much power in this image, in the explosion of the ocean, in the threatening sky on the horizon, in the man's relaxed and Quixotic stance with his umbrella in the face of it all. Sensational. |
