 Unfortunately, I missed the right title during the challenge - here it is the right one...
A baby turtle and an apple. When I went out to take some shots "of something" for this challenge ( I had no idea what ) , I took a photogenic apple from fridge ,just in case , and , in the field I found this little turtle. The rest is history...

i dont really understand what is meant by balance, so i have just been looking at this as a free study, that being said, this is well lit, albeit slightly odd......

OMG - that looks like the Honey Colored Redfoot Tortoise I am getting next week....aside from the angled indentations along the side of the carapace.
