 The lighthouse at Port Dalhousie, which I've photographed before. This is an HDR in the dead of winter, ice everywhere. It's pretty heavily edited, I'm sure you can tell. :D

Equal parts Photomatix, Nik Color and Silver EFEX, sharpening, noiseware, etc.

Thanks for the great comments. A new PB, if the scrubber doesn't take me down too far. Wonder if it's enough for a 2nd ribbon? There were some great shots in this challenge, I handed out two 9's and eleven 8's...we shall see!

Blue? I'm humbled. 95 challenges and three and a half years since my last ribbon...thanks everyone! It was worth the frostbite. :-D

My apologies, I must've been tired when I voted, because this somehow escaped under the radar and got an average vote. On my second pass through I found this gem of a photo. Absolutely love it! Great photo - just love the detail in the rocks and ocean! Upgraded to an 8 :)

What bizarre geological matter up front. The sky look unreal too. Interesting way to frame your lighthouse.

Great. 10. To me this image goes beyond "the lighthouse", "the lonely tree", "the cat", "the dog" .... touching the core of the idea. Again, just like a Conrad story.

Wonderful image. Foreground is nicely framed and the clouds are a lovely painting. B&W a nice choice. Great silvery tones. Should certainly ribbon.
