This guy plays his drums and blows a whistle in such a way that you think an entire marching band is approaching. He performs for tips on the Roberto Clemente Bridge after sporting events, like today's Steelers game.

Looks cold out there. He must be dedicated.

What an interesting person! I would crop it a little tighter (which is difficult, because his leg and foot help to define where he is) and I would mess with the levels and saturation to bump the coloring up a notch.

Looks scary. Nice focus, nice details and composition. Overall this doesn't have a lot of interest for me. = 7

Interesting candid... but this is exactly the kind of photo that benefits the most from the rule of thirds. Placing his body further to the left and down a little would mean the direction of his gaze would lead you across the photo to look at the people passing him by, not looking at him, then down to his drums and back around, up to his face. Some work on the colours would also help, they seem a touch washed out (just increase the contrast or work on the levels). Although there is some intest in the left side of the photo because of the bridge, it's not really adding to the composition at all.

Good focus, a little action (title's a little "off"), but medium low "wow" factor. 6 Swash

Unique shot. I like the composition and subject. I'm formerly from Pittsburgh so this all looks familiar. Good Job. DPz

i worry that he will fall. i wonder how it would have looked with him more over in the left 3rd instead of centered. cool shot

Great candid shot, beautifully focused. However, I personally would have cropped more to the right (if possible), since the uprights on the left don't add anything to the shot. Also, since the colours are quite muted, this may have worked well as a b&w shot.

I'd have to say I'd be a little upset if that guy banged those snares in my ear. I might have to push him over the edge. lol. Looks like this was taken at a game or something. The angle and framing/cropping are ok. I'm really glad you didn't cut off his foot here. The focus and clarity seem good too. I like the slight motion blurr on his sticks. Good luck in the challenge.

Interesting shot, a bit of sharpening or more contrast would have worked even better; I think.

Interesting composition. The background is a little busy. Are they going to the game? It would make a great photojournalism shot.

He appears to be blowing a whistle also. Can I ask what he thinks he is doing? This is what I call being in the right place at the right time. Great picture, well done, and human interest. This one grabs your attention and makes you want to know more about that man. Great photojournalism picture.

good composition with the straps behind the drummer "holding him up as he rides the bridge". the drummer facing the crowd gives good direction to the photo. good color. works for me.

Great shot. That is one brave dude. I'll give you an extra point 'cause the Steelers lost this weekend. LOL
