Exposure (100% Recovery to restore the blown areas on the beach lights)
Some adjustments on the other sliders (Sharpness, Vibrance, Noise Reduction, etc)

Some burn on the city lights on a layer mask (using [user]Bear Music[/user] technique shown at this thread
Resize to 50%
USM
Resize to 800px
USM
Border (Canvas size)
Save for web.

06/21 - Very excited with the scores! Getting very nice comments and going toward my PB! This will be a long week!!
This is the second time I shoot airplane light trails on DPC...
(Same airport, same takeoff style, but shoot from the top of Sugar Loaf (the left mountain seen on the actual entry)).
This time I am having a very nice feedback!! I have to admit that this image is by far more appealing, though.

I have seen a few of these images lately, and have consistently been impressed. In fact I thought I driving to a local airport to try to do something like this, but never got the time.

Obvious tripod use: Extremely high.

Obvious use of a tripod, or any other long-term stabilization tool (1-10 *is not the score of the shot though*): 10

Wow, this isn't something you see everyday. Instead of using the typical car-light long exposure. You use a plane. Excellent. I love how you can see the stars also.
