| I'm seeing a lot of B&W shots in this challenge. It's not a common NG format. Not saying it's not been done, just uncommon. Still, the minimalist effect is, as far as DPC entries is concerned also uncommon and thus daring. There's not a lot of contrast in this, and early BW films and most off the shelf films I used were the same. So, if you were a young 1970's NG tog, perfectly acceptable. I can't see a story here, nothing hits me in the face so the image could not stand on its own without supporting text. Is the hand of man needed? (The pier). Surely depends on the article. 50/50 chance of publication. |
