Love the shot, though the selective desat isn't working for me. Call that a personal preference opinion and not necessarily a real problem.

I don't mind the burnt highlight of the sun. Even the distortion of the horizon has been done by NG togs' with fisheye or UWA lenses. But the selective desaturation is a positive no-no. You can argue that NG will or has done an article on the future of image manipulation with sample photos, I'll grant you that, but overwhelmingly they don't allow PP beyond dodge and burn, HDR and cropping, not in the magazine or online. I'm not giving this a 1 or a 10 but I feel it has no place in NG, EXCEPT in an article about processing which the spirit of this challenge is not about.
