At the beach in Carlsbad Ca. To me he looks like he could be on a Pacific Island ... again any adviced is welcomed.. (:

I have googled black and white photos published by NG ..and actually there are quite a few! sooooo???? and I'm sorry but yours wasn't that "in-focus" either...I'm just sayin! :/

B&W are seldom used in NG. To make this publishable the focus, imho, should have been manually achieved, on the child's face. Right now it seems the grass is in focus to his right. The foreground grass and his face are OOF. It's cute and fun but not gripping enough, story telling enough.
