 At the time of this challenge, I had just lost my mom. The loss was still all too fresh, and I remembered standing in this cemetery, the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, and being in awe of the symetry, and the crisp, reverent feeling you get amidst all the graves so perfectly aligned with each other.

This is so memorable, and also so beautiful, in so many ways.
A touching tribute to your Mother.
You have such a wonderful touch with anything "Emotive" and also your "Candid" shots.

I like this but maybe it would be beter without the emphasis on the flowers? overall a lovely shot!

I think the frame on this is fine but the vignette I do not think was a good choice. The angle and the lines are very good as is the exposure, detail, perspective and DOF.

I would recommend obscuring all readable text on the stones... Great photo, one of the better interpreations. Good Luck.

This photo got the 10 it deserves. I had the same idea for a subject in this challenge, but you pulled it off better. I'm not usually a fan of B&W but in this photo it has a soothing quality. I also like the pot of flowers, gives you something to look at besides the vanishing points. I also like the angle you captured giving multiple examples of a vanishing point.

I had this same thought..I didn't enter because the grave yard I wanted to photograph was an hours drive Didn't have time to go there.I like the way you show both veiws.9 from me
