| Sharp and bright, but it seems kind of flat. If you had a shallower depth of field and cropped more tightly, this would be a more interesting photo. |

| Very pretty!! What great focus and clarity. The angle and framing/cropping is wonderful. I love the placement of the cone within the frame. The colors are great, and the lighting is just perfect for this shot. I really have nothing to complain about. (miracle, huh?) Great find!! Good luck in the challenge. |

| I LOVE THIS! How perfect for a Holiday Card. I can almost smell the pine. Excellent color saturation and exposure. Nice composition. |

| O.K. this seems to be two trees growing together, but it makes for a nice set of colors. Very good shot. The pinecone in the lower center is a very nice touch. 8 Swash |

| challenge met. very fitting entry for this time of year :) . i like the red&green as both a background and additional color. the pine cone makes a nice subject, good color. some of the berries (especially that cluster to the lower left of the cone) would be even better if in focus, but your camera's DOF limits may not have allowed that. |

| This shot feels a little chaotic to me... there's pine needles going everywhere. If the shot focused more on the pinecone and berries around it I think it would have flowed a little better. Also eliminating the twig infront of the pinecone would have helped. |
