How could anyone vote this a 1? Wouldn't it be great if when you received a certain number of 10s the 1s would fall off. |

Congratulations on the win! I must say, I thought I almost had it, judging by the score but in the end, this is a great photo to lose out to! Wonderful photo and great editing - difficult to compete with! :-) |

Congratulations! I was one of the twenty people who gave this a 10. My entry also had a jigsaw puzzle and look what it got us? :) |

I gave this a ten... I'm so glad it's the blue. (But, I think the fingers could be holding the piece just a smidgen more believably).
I love the focus and the total idea of this. Well done! Congrats on your ribbon!

Congrats with Blue Ribbon!!
I commented while voting, and still think the same about the puzzle effect, and the piece "she's holding" is corny and has fakish shadow. but hey!.. you did win and I didnt! ;) Congrats! |

Would have been a great portrait without the puzzle pieces, but adding them is a nice touch for an expert editing challenge. |

There's no doubt in my mind that this is my favourite!
The reason I'm not giving it a ten...? The floating puzzle piece could have a smoother and more solid cutout like the other pieces.
Great job! |

I have always wanted to do an edit of myself with this. Looks like a lot of fun. When the challenge is done you should do a "How'd they do that?" for the site. I think it will be a fun add. |

Cool idea!, amazing clarity on the model! (and I may say she looks fantastic aswell!) ;)
But!.. the Puzzle effect is a bit too fake, with too much depth shadow, and the lines dividing are quite disturbing.
If you just had uploaded the photo without the puzzling, it would get a 8-9 from me (even not having any "Expert Editing" visible, but I believe you did a great face treatment.
Good luck in the challenge! |

Beautifully lit and framed, and a clever if not super original idea. My only knock is that the overlay of the puzzle pieces is unconvincing; If you could have shot a white puzzle, or found a graphic that was more than line and a drop shadow, it would have given this that little extra push to the top. I put this in my top five. |

This idea was used many times and the result ends up looking a bit odd. There is no interest in the shape of the removed piece. An unfortunate choice of overlapping. |
